| L’algue brune Padina pavonica a été récoltée durant une période d’une année (Juillet 2006 à Juin 2007), dans la côte nord de la Tunisie (Cap Zebib) en vue d'évaluer l'activité antibactérienne d’extraits bruts de l’algue et leur variabilité saisonnière. Les extraits d’algue ont été préparés en utilisant le Dichlorométhane et le Dichlorométhane/Méthanol et testés périodiquement (tous les mois) sur une gamme de bactéries pathogènes et des bactéries associées isolées de l’algue. Une variation significative de l'activité antibactérienne liée au solvant d’extraction utilisé a été notée. Ainsi, les extraits au Dichloromethane/Méthanol sont plus actifs. | The aim of this study was to evaluate the seasonal variations of six biomarkers on Mytilus galloprovincialis, using comparison with physiological index and chemical contamination levels on two sites of Mediterranean sea. The seasonal variations of acetylcholinesterase (AChE), DNA adducts, benzo(a)pyrene hydroxylase (BPH), heat-shock proteins (HSP), metallothioneins (MT) and multixeniobiotic proteins (MXR) were estimated over a two-year period, on mussels which were sampled in Carteau (original site) and La Fourcade (transplanted organisms). | In the deepest parts of the estuarine region of Ebrie Lagoon (Abidjan Africa, (5 degree N, 4 degree W) stratified conditions have been observed during the rainy season (May to Nov.), owing to salinity differences between oxic and anoxic layers. At the interface, 3-4 m depth, phototrophic bacteria (Chromatium, Chlorobium and Pelodictyon ) developed, forming a brown layer due to their different pigments. Their production has been estimated at 41% of the total photosynthetic production during high stratification (Sep. 1981) and their biomass was used by the copepod population for 40 to 60% of its diet. | En 1987, 59 chalutiers pélagiques (62-102 m, 2000 – 3880 cv) ont opéré dans la ZEE mauritanienne. Trois pays sont représentés : l’URSS, la Roumanie et l’Allemagne de l’Est. Les captures totales atteignent 441473 tonnes dont 66,5% est pêchée par les soviétiques, 26,3% par les roumains et 7,2% par les allemands de l’Est. Les chinchards (<Trachirus sp et Decapterus rhonchus>) prédominent dans les captures avec 50,8%, les sardinelles en représentent 14,9% et la sardine 7,7%. L’activité des flottilles est apparue, comme en 1986, très marquée par les saisons hydrologiques. |
